Following are several important updates and time-sensitive actions required related to the upcoming spring lacrosse season.

PARENT’S MEETING WED, 2/8
We will host a Parent’s Meeting next Wednesday, 2/8 from 8 pm to 9 pm. A Microsoft Teams invitation will be sent under separate cover. The agenda will include remarks by Coach Goodwin and an overview of plans for the upcoming season. Please note that you may need to download the Teams app to your PC or phone in advance to ensure you can access the meeting.

SHOOTER SHIRTS & WMC LAX APPAREL (DEADLINE 2/10)
Our spring Apparel Store is now open at: https://www.destinationathlete.com/teams/store.aspx?dept=2968&team=2941

Visit the store by Friday, 2/10 to purchase shooter shirts (mandatory for all players for the upcoming season), as well as other WMC Boy’s Lacrosse apparel and accessory items (optional).

• Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors can customize their shooter shirts with their jersey numbers (sophomores will need to reach out to Coach Goodwin to select/confirm their jersey number)
• Freshmen should order their shirts without a number
• The store will be open until Friday, 2/10; no orders will be accepted after this date.
• Orders will be delivered the week of 3/6. Further details regarding distribution will be shared at that time.

YARD SIGN ORDERS (DEADLINE 2/22)
Show your WMC lacrosse spirit by purchasing a personalized lawn sign recognizing your player (the image attached to this email shows what the signs will look like). We are accepting orders now through 2/22. The cost is $25 each, and the signs will be delivered in March. Same as with the shooter shirts, sophomores will need to check in with Coach Goodwin to confirm their jersey number for the upcoming season if you want to include that on their sign. Freshmen should purchase signs with their name only (no jersey number).

To place an order, Venmo payment to @wmchsboyslax. Please include your player’s name and grade as well as your email and phone number in the comments.

PLAYER DUES (DEADLINE 2/27)
Lacrosse dues have been set by the Club for the 2023 season. The cost per player will be $300. Payment is required by Monday, 2/27. We have two payment options available:

• Venmo payment to @wmchsboyslax
• Mail a check, made payable to West Morris Central Parents Lacrosse Club to P.O. Box 328, Long Valley, New Jersey 07853

PRELIMINARY PRACTICE AND GAME SCHEDULES
Coach Goodwin has shared preliminary practice and game schedules for the season. To access the schedules, visit wmclax.com and click on “media” in the top menu bar, then “documents”. Scroll down until you see the folder icon for 2023. Underneath the icon you will find three documents containing the practice schedule as well as the Freshman and Varsity/JV game schedules.

Please note that practices are scheduled daily for the week of spring break (3/27-4/1); all players are expected to attend.

PLAYER REGISTRATION *
All players must register for the season, which includes concussion testing (9th and 11th graders only) and a physical or updated health form. *All paperwork must be completed and submitted to the school nurse in advance of the first practice on 3/16. Visit https://www.wmchs.org/athletics and click on “Online Athletics Registration” on the left menu bar for full details and to access the registration page and required forms. WMC CUSTOM GLOVE ORDERS
For those of you who placed an order for WMC custom lacrosse gloves, they should be arriving by the end of next week. We will send a separate email regarding distribution/pick-up once they are in.

SUPER BOWL SQUARES
Quick reminder that we are selling Super Bowl squares to raise funds for the Club. The cost is $50 a square. Prizes will be as follows:

• 1st Quarter-15% – $375 if all squares are sold
• 2nd Quarter-20% – $500 if all squares are sold
• 3rd Quarter-30% – $750 if all squares are sold
• Final Score -35% – $875 if all squares are sold
