News and Announcements
There has been a flurry of activity from Parents wanting to get their family booster in the 2016 Booster Book so we are extending the due date to March 13th. Please email ads to Hank Izzo at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can include your booster in the book.
Forms and Samples of Ads can be found in the DOCUMENTS section of the website under the MEDIA tab.
Dear Wolfpack Families,
Each year, as one of our major fundraising efforts we produce the Season Booster Book. The Booster Book is not only a great fundraiser for the Program that helps us offset our dues but is a great keepsake for the boys and parents alike. The majority of the funds raised come from the support of our local businesses (see the attached list of sponsors from last year). The remaining funds come from personal ads supporting the team and individual players wishing them luck in the 2016 season.
For Business Ads: Our goal is to make this book even more successful by obtaining the support of new business sponsors in addition to the ones we had last year. If each player could strive to sign up one additional business this would almost double the size of our business sponsors. See the attached business sponsorship form.
For Personal Ads: Attached is a template to design your personal ads. This year we want to strive to make these ads easier for the volunteers to organize in the book so publishing isn’t as difficult as it was last year. Striving for 100% electronic submission is the goal, however if you need some assistance in organizing your ad please let us know.
I have also attached some examples of personal and professional ads for informational purposes.
FINALLY, OUR GOAL IS TO RECIEVE ALL ADS AND BOOSTER PAYMENTS BY MARCH 6TH (NOW MARCH 13TH) SO WE CAN ASSEMBLE THE BOOK AND GET IT PRINTED IN TIME FOR THE FACE OFF DINNER.
Thanks again to all for your support of the Coaches and Players as we prepare of a great 2016 Season.

Coach Goodwin received notification today from Pope John that they DO NOT allow screw in cleats on their field. Only molded cleats are allowed.
If your son shows up to the Pope John Varsity/JV games on 3/31 with screw in cleats, he will not be allowed to play. Therefore, please ensure your son has molded cleats prior to that game on 3/31.
If your son is unsure of whether his cleats are molded or screw in, please ask him to have Coach Goodwin or Coach Buchanan check for him.
If your son needs to purchase new cleats, please don’t wait until the last minute. With lacrosse season in high gear now, new cleats will likely be in demand and the selection at certain stores could be limited.
We don’t want to have a situation where you waited to purchase new cleats and there are none available in your son’s size, etc.
As you know, the Junior class had to postpone their mouth guard appointment last week at Dr. Bush’s office. As such, it is requested that all Juniors visit Dr. Bush’s office TOMORROW (Monday, 3/7) at 3:00pm.
If you are not able to attend Monday, 3/7 at 3:00pm, please attend Tuesday, 3/8 at 3:00pm. Please reach out to your Class Rep with any questions or if you need assistance with car pools, etc.
